Résumé
This presentation examines the dark history of archaeology and howIndigenous knowledge and interpretations about the past can help in theprocess of reconciliation. The forms of Indigenous archaeology are variedbut my approach combines Indigenous knowledge with science andpresents results in conventional academic forums and through the media.I argue that the use of archaeological media reaches a broader audienceand is more effective in reconciling the past.
